Sugarfoot Swing Frankfurt

Fanni and Bruno are partners both on the dance floor and in life. They met at a social dance event in Budapest two years ago and have been dancing together ever since. On the dance floor, they love to be playful, rhythmical and sometimes, or rather always, a bit silly.

Bruno has danced different dance styles during his whole life and fell in love with swing dancing in 2014 while doing his master studies in Sweden. Since then, he travelled a lot around Europe to learn from top international teachers and to acquire as much knowledge about Lindy Hop as possible. He started teaching Lindy Hop in 2016 shortly after moving back to Germany from Sweden and two years later, he opened his own dance school “SugarfootSwing” in Frankfurt. Bruno learned to dance both roles early on and his approach to leading and following focuses on natural body movements and understanding, how the other role thinks and moves.

Fanni had spent around 10 years dancing in a musical troupe before she started to learn Lindy Hop in 2016 in Hungary. While social dancing, she loves to connect with the music and play with her footwork. She is the kind of follower, who will make you smile instantly and it is never boring to dance with her. After moving to Germany in the midst of the Covid pandemic, Fanni started teaching together with Bruno in 2021 and has been happy to share her enthusiasm for Lindy Hop ever since.
